Promoting cleanliness and proper hygiene for a happier Back-to-School
Sanitary Care Products Asia joins annual Brigada Eskwela
Local tissue manufacturer Sanitary Care Products Asia (SCPA) helped in improving ten schools from eight provinces in line with the Brigada Eskwela, a nationwide program initiated by the Department of Education (DepEd), that aims to gather various stakeholders to do a week-long cleanup prior the start of classes in June.
This year, a total of 264 employees from different branches of SCPA across the country participated in the program by looking for schools near their area.
Equipped with all the materials and skilled workers, SCPA helped in refurbishing 58 classrooms and 14 washrooms, and other facilities like faculty rooms, library, canteen, and even the school grounds. They also did decluttering, cleaning, and polishing of classrooms.
The whole initiative is at the core of SCPA’s theme for this year, Brigada Para sa Malinis at Ligtas na Eskwela, that is aimed at providing students a conducive learning environment. More than 8,000 students and 300 teachers will benefit from better educational facilities for the upcoming school year.
As a company that manufactures eco-friendly and hygienic paper brands, SCPA believes that using products that help improve sanitation and the health of students will be vital in ensuring that they can learn better in school.
In addition to the cleanup, they also distributed hygiene kits that include tissue paper, cleansing wipes, and toilet seat cover to partner schools to help students avoid sickness by maintaining proper hygiene.
This initiative simultaneously happened in schools from Taguig, Batangas, Davao, Pampanga, Cebu, Bicol, and Bacolod, where SCPA branches are located.
“We value education and its powerful impact on our youth. That’s why we continue to invest in making sure that students across the country can have an environment that is highly conducive to learning,” says Ven Sio, SCPA President.
Sio added that they always put great love for what they do and the people they do it for. They keep this vision as they continue to help Filipinos achieve a happy and healthy life.
Established in 1996, Sanitary Care Products Asia has been a dependable manufacturer of innovative, eco-friendly, and affordable tissue paper and hygienic products. SCPA is also a tissue brand that values health and safety by using raw materials that are free from harmful chemicals.
