SCPA was established in 1996, at a time when most consumers were unaware that the paper they used was made from recycled materials processed with harmful chemicals—posing potential health risks to their families. With my background in the paper industry, I knew that what consumers truly needed were products made from 100% virgin fiber. These stronger fibers don’t break down into lint, which can trigger allergies. I also ensured that our raw materials contained no artificial whiteners or elemental chlorine—chemicals banned in other countries but still present in products sold to Filipinos.

I believe we helped consumers realize that they deserve more from their tissue products—not just softness and affordability, but true hygiene and quality. I resisted the temptation to settle for “good enough” and instead offered a superior product at competitive prices, ensuring real value for our customers.
