Our Why

SCPA was founded in 1996 by Renato Sio with the simple dream of providing employment for at least 10 Filipinos.

After a long and successful career in the pulp and paper industry, Renato felt it was his turn to give back and be a channel of blessings to others. Motivated beyond personal gain and strongly guided by his Christian faith, he set up a company that was passionate about doing what is right and fair to everyone - from his employees to his customers and his suppliers.

Nearly 25 years later, SCPA has grown to employ over 500 Filipinos nationwide. The company is now under the capable hands of Renato's son, Ven, but the focus on doing good for the employees continue.

Going beyond the numbers, SCPA today seeks to be one of the better companies to work for by providing its employees opportunities for holistic development.

    The Company Nurse is responsible in providing basic healthcare services to employees. The Company Nurse is also responsible for assessing exposure risks, aiding and assisting employee injuries, emergencies and recovery, promoting health through raising awareness and educational promotion.
